FINALLY

We finally bought a highchair for Lincoln at the end of September!!! It was about time but we had to find our that folds really flat (and doesn't cost an arm and a leg) since we don't have any storage place for it!!! We think it is super cute too!!!

NASCAR...

Near the end of September we had the fun opportunity to go to the NASCAR Truck Series race in Las Vegas! We went last year and had a blast so it was really fun to go again this year! We went with my mom and dad, Brad and Amber and Krista!!! Lincoln slept through it last year and I wasn't sure how he was going to do this year, but he LOVED it! He was so excited to see the trucks and he loved the noise! He hates the caution laps because they weren't going fast enough and they weren't loud enough!!! Eric got to be in the pits with Matt again this year and we watched them both with our binoculars...it was pretty neat!! We had such a blast and we can't wait for next year!!!

Two days after the race my mom, Krista and I headed back to Las Vegas to see the Lion King at the Mandalay Bay...and it was so much fun!!! They did a great job and I am so glad that we went together to see it!!! The next morning I took Krista to the airport at 5 AM...it was sad to see her go but it was fun spending time with her!!!

September Visitors...

The first week in September Kent and Terri came down for a few days and it was so much fun! Lincoln loved being with his Grandma and Grandpa! It was a great little visit! Sadly we don't have many pictures from the visit but here is one of Lincoln being funny for his new audience!! (which he loved having all the attention)

Water fun

We got Lincoln a fun water table to play with outside in the desert heat and he just loves it!!!

Firsts...

August held a couple of firsts for Lincoln! Not only did he get his first hair cut but he also threw his first REAL tantrum!!! It was horrible and lasted well over an hour! So of course I took pictures!!! :) He was mad about having to use a sippy cup instead of a bottle...so sad isn't it!

18 months old

Lincoln had his 18 month check up mid August! He is still tall and skinny! He weighed in at 22 lbs and is 33.5 inches long! That puts him in the 8th percentile for his weight and the 50th percentile for his height! He is becoming more and more active and is so entertaining to watch!!! It has been so much fun having him in our family!!! He did have to get four shots...but his doctor was out of two of them so he go two that day and had to go back a week later to get the other two! It was really sad because when we went back for the last two shots he started crying as soon as they called his name to go back in to the office! :( He knew what was going to happen!
To celebrate Lincoln got his first 'real' hair cut...grandma cute it for us a few weeks prior, but it was in desperate need of professional help!!! It turned out so cute and the lady who cute it did an awesome job...Lincoln kept turning his head the whole time!!! And by the end is was just done!

And the finished result!!!

Cragun Family weekend

The first weekend in August we went to Northern Utah to visit Eric's family for some Cragun Family Festivities! It started Friday as a girls day out! We went to the Temple in SLC then to lunch at this wonderful bakery in Bountiful and then glitter toes in Layton! It was such a fun way to catch up since it had been such along time since everyone was all in the same place!!! (no pictures sorry)
That night I picked Eric up from the airport and met his cousin Greg for some great sushi in downtown Salt Lake! I have no idea where we went but it was really good! Then we headed up the canyon to my parents house to stay the night...we needed to be back down in West Jordan early Saturday morning!
Saturday was the big day! Our nephew Landon was baptized that morning which was a great reason to all be together as a family and support him!!! Then we had a great lunch at Amy's house!! Then back up the canyon but this time to Snow Bird to play around outside!!! We had such a fun time watching Eric and some of the nephews ride a mechanical bull...the bull won every single time!!! It was so much fun just enjoying nature all afternoon!!! That night we had tickets to see Peter Breinholt at the Sandy amphitheater! It was a great concert and we had a great time with everyone!!

On Sunday we stayed and had a great Sunday Dinner with everyone before we headed home!!! It was a great trip and we had such a blast seeing everyone!!!!
